From an isolated sound bunker somewhere in Mexico as DOPAMINE LARVAE Quiroga ventures the kind of sonic landscape that you would expect to epitomise the very suffering emanating from some hellish abyss, vested with the application of pain and torture, this is grim and macabre stuff seemingly riddled and rooted in the occult’s dark side - not I hasten to add easy listening for a Sunday morning - and were there such a generic box to file it under then the power electronics equivalent of death / black metal would be it -

Squats, squirms and screams with an unrivalled dread drilled unease that literally chills to the very core sapping your very essence of its will, the swamp dragged slow core pangs reverberate with a malicious unholy intent like some ungodly sanctum of retribution or else some deeply dark ceremonial black mass. Now its probably not the first time I’ve said this when commenting upon Quiroga - but clearly this chap has several unresolved issues at large, seemingly at ease in putting both your ears and senses into an aural vice and applying the pressure until your skull splits you get the clear message that he delights in provocation.

Would no doubt be hailed and worshipped by the small and select noise loving community, it withers and cowers into the shadows, pinned to the wall by an inferno of harsh brutality, this is pure sonic terrorism, unforgiving, impenetrable, demonic and punishing which from under the siege of the acid scalding rain showers a blistered and unrepentant torture unfolds like some apocalyptic storm. Approach with caution.
